12/21/2016 was the 25th day of Advent and also the Winter Solstice. What is most important is that, even though it is the shortest daylight of the year, this means that each day, for the next six months will be LONGER. As I said to a friend today, I feel the need to look for positive signs in my life and in the world. I know things seem crazy and that the craziness could get one down, but I think accentuating the positive is the way to go. Find those positive signs and place them at the forefront. Aretha agrees.
